Looking for a wine to serve this Easter?

To all our friends celebrating Easter, best wishes for a happy holiday. We hope it is meaningful, with quality time spent with family and friends. For those looking for a special wine to go along with your celebration, here are a few recommendations:

1. Israel’s Tabor Winery is located in the Upper Galilee, just a 20 minute drive from Nazareth, biblical home of Jesus Christ. Tabor  produces a variety of Reds, Whites, and Roses and are available both online and at many major retailers. To learn about the Tabor Winery, check out the blog from Jan. 9th.

2. The Jezreel Valley Vineyard is located near the Church of Annunciation, where the Angel Gabriel told Mary she would give birth to Jesus. They are a boutique winery, and have received rave reviews from wine critic Robert Parker. One of our favorites is the ALFA, which is available from Joe Canals. Jezreel Winery was featured on the blog on Dec. 3rd.

3. Netofa Winery is located on the Western side of the Sea of Galilee, near to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus gave the famous “Sermon on the Mount”. The Netofa Latour White is one of the few 100% Chenin Blanc produced in the area. It is very aromatic, smelling of a fresh spring day. This wine is available at Total Wines. Netofa Winery was featured on the blog Jan. 15th.

Best Wishes for a happy holiday,
Your friends at Israel Wine Girl
