About the Wine:
Yarden Hermon Moscato is crafted from Muscat Canelli grapes grown in the cool climate, rocky volcanic soil, and high altitude of the Golan Heights. This varietal is known for its distinctive floral and fruity aromas, including orange blossom, peach, and nectarine.
This wine is sweet due to an intentional halt in the fermentation process, which preserves some of the grape’s natural sugars. With an alcohol content of just 6%, it is an ideal choice for dessert or celebratory occasions. Produced in the frizzante style, it offers delicate, soft bubbles that make it both refreshing and festive.
About the Winery:

Yarden is the U.S. importer for wines produced by the Golan Heights Winery, which was established in 1983 with the goal of creating high-quality Israeli wines. The winery’s vineyards sit between 1,200 and 4,000 feet above sea level on mineral-rich volcanic soil. These soils retain water well, allowing grapevine roots to penetrate deeply, which contributes to the development of complex, flavorful wines.
The region benefits from a combination of warm, sunny days and cool Mediterranean breezes—an ideal environment for grape cultivation. Golan Heights Winery blends traditional winemaking methods with modern innovations and is widely regarded as a pioneering force in Israeli winemaking. It has received numerous accolades over the years, including the prestigious “Best New World Winery” award from Wine Enthusiast.
About the Winemaker:

Victor Schoenfeld has served as head winemaker at Golan Heights Winery since 1991. A graduate of UC Davis’s renowned viticulture and enology program, Schoenfeld gained early experience at California’s Chateau St. Jean before joining the Golan Heights team on what was originally a three-year contract.
Decades later, he remains one of the most influential figures in Israeli winemaking. His commitment to quality and innovation has played a central role in shaping the winery’s identity and international reputation.
