About the Wine
The Privilege from Shiloh Winery is a masterful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Grenache, and Cabernet Franc. Each variety plays a role in shaping the wine’s character: Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure, Syrah adds depth and spice, Grenache contributes juicy red fruit, and Cabernet Franc brings elegance with floral and herbal notes.

The wine was aged for nine months in French oak barrels, imparting subtle hints of vanilla and touches of chocolate that round out the palate. The result is a well-balanced wine—elegant, fresh, and versatile—perfect for a festive Rosh Hashanah meal or any celebratory table.
About the Winery

Shiloh Winery is nestled in the hills of Judea and Samaria, in the ancient city of Shiloh. Over 3,000 years ago, Shiloh served as the spiritual and political center of the Israelite nation, housing the Tabernacle before Jerusalem became the capital. Today, it is home to one of Israel’s most acclaimed wineries.
The region’s terroir is ideal for viticulture: warm days and cool nights throughout the growing season allow grapes to ripen slowly, concentrating flavor and developing balanced acidity. These conditions help produce some of Israel’s finest and most expressive wines.
About the Winemaker

Shiloh’s winemaker, Amichai Lourie, is widely regarded as one of Israel’s leading talents. Since 2005, he has been crafting wines that have earned international recognition, consistently receiving high scores from top wine critics—95 points from Decanter, 93 from Wine Enthusiast, 92 from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, and 90 from Wine Spectator.
Before becoming a winemaker, Amichai worked in construction, which shaped his meticulous, detail-oriented approach to his craft. He often says that making wine in Israel is not just a profession but a privilege, and his dedication is evident in every bottle. His philosophy is simple: “If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right.”
