About the Wine
Shoresh is a premium blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, the wine gains structure and depth while beautifully enhancing its dark fruit and spice profile.
The grapes are harvested from the Shoresh Vineyard in the Judean Hills, where elevation, rocky soils, and varied microclimates create ideal growing conditions.
Shoresh has received high ratings from internationally respected critics such as James Suckling and Wine Spectator, and is considered among the top 1% of Israeli wines according to Vivino.
While approachable now, this wine has the structure and balance to continue evolving beautifully in the bottle for many years to come.
About the Winery
In the spirit of Tu B’Shevat, Tzora Vineyards stands out not only for exceptional quality, but for its commitment to sustainability.

The winery has received international recognition for sustainable viticulture and is certified by Fair’n Green, a European organization based in Germany. This certification reflects responsible vineyard management, environmental protection, and social responsibility.
Tzora sources all its grapes from a single estate vineyard — Shoresh Vineyard — located high in the Judean Hills. The vineyard is divided into diverse plots with varying aspects and microclimates, allowing for remarkable depth and complexity across its wines.

Founded in 1993 by the late Ronnie James (z”l), the winery continues its legacy under the leadership of Dor James (vineyard manager since 2005) and Eran Pick.
About the Winemaker
Eran Pick made history in 2016 as Israel’s first Master of Wine — one of the most prestigious and demanding qualifications in the wine world.
After training in California, the Barossa Valley, and Bordeaux, he graduated from UC Davis with Highest Honors in Viticulture and Enology. In addition to serving as winemaker and managing director at Tzora, he is a founding member of the Judean Hills Quartet — a collaboration between four distinguished wineries: Domaine du Castel, Sphera, Flam, and Tzora.
Working alongside Eran is Dan Sheinman, who holds a B.S. in Plant Sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and refined his expertise in Burgundy, mastering both vineyard and cellar practices.
