Or Haganuz Har Meron

To make this Shabbat a delight, consider the Har Meron from the Or Haganuz Winery.  A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 10% Shiraz, this is a port style wine rich in the flavors of classic varietals, but with not too much sweetness so is classified as “semi-sweet”. Aged in oak for 10 months, it is a wine perfect for having with smoky bbq and grilled meats, or it can be served as a dessert wine. This wine is 15% alcohol, so it is recommended to be sipped slowly. 

Or Haganuz is a boutique winery that was established in 2005, at the base of Mount Miron in the Galilee; close to the city of Safed.  It is run by the members of the Ultra-Orthodox “Or-Haganuz” settlement  The settlement was established to be a “cooperative society”, where each person puts their effort into taking care of the society as a whole. This means if one cares for others, then they in return will care for him. There are 80-90 families that have committed to living in this special way.
