🌹About the Wine

The Shiloh Rosé 2025 is bright, crisp, and wonderfully refreshing. Made from Barbera and Cabernet Franc grapes, this rosé bursts with notes of summer fruit, including strawberry, cherry, and watermelon, with a touch of grapefruit adding a lively acidity.

The grapes are sourced from vineyards in the Samarian Hills, located in the northern part of the Judean Mountains. This region is known for its rolling hills and terra rossa soil, conditions that help produce high-quality wines with character and complexity.

Rosé wines are one of the best parts of summer. Served well chilled, they are incredibly refreshing on a hot day—whether you’re in Israel or Princeton, New Jersey. Maybe even more so in Princeton, where the humidity can be relentless!

Another reason to love Rosé? It’s easy to find excellent bottles at reasonable prices. The Shiloh Rosé 2025 is currently available for $25.99 on KosherWine.com, making it an affordable and delicious summer pick.

Rosé is also one of the most versatile food wines available. It pairs beautifully with salads, grilled vegetables, and light appetizers, while also standing up well to burgers, chicken, and grilled meats. Looking for a new recipe to try? Pair this wine with celebrity chef Jamie Geller’s Grilled Vegetable Platter for a perfect summer meal.

If you still need another reason to try Rosé, consider this: Rosé wines are among the most Instagrammable summer drinks, generating approximately 37,000 new Instagram posts every day and hundreds of millions of tags overall.

🍇 About the Winery

Shiloh Winery is nestled in the hills of Judea and Samaria near the ancient city of Shiloh. More than 3,000 years ago, Shiloh served as the spiritual and political center of the Israelite nation, housing the Tabernacle before Jerusalem became the capital. Today, it is home to one of Israel’s most acclaimed wineries.

The region’s terroir is ideal for viticulture. Warm days and cool nights throughout the growing season allow grapes to ripen slowly, concentrating flavor while maintaining balanced acidity. These conditions help produce some of Israel’s finest and most expressive wines.

Shiloh recently opened a beautiful new tasting venue overlooking the surrounding mountains. Whether you’re a dedicated wine enthusiast, a casual visitor, or simply passing through the area, the winery welcomes guests to experience the artistry and passion that define Shiloh Winery.

And if you stop by, feel free to mention that Israel Wine Girl sent you!

As the winery states on its website, Shiloh is not just a place to taste wine—it’s a destination where visitors can experience the soul of the winery itself.

🧍 About the Winemaker

Shiloh’s Head Winemaker, Amichai Lourie, is widely regarded as one of Israel’s leading winemaking talents. Since 2005, he has crafted wines that have earned international acclaim, consistently receiving high scores from respected wine critics, including 95 points from Decanter, 93 from Wine Enthusiast, 92 from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, and 90 from Wine Spectator.

Before entering the wine industry, Amichai worked in construction, an experience that helped shape his meticulous, detail-oriented approach to winemaking. He often says that making wine in Israel is not just a profession but a privilege, and that dedication is evident in every bottle he produces.

His philosophy is simple: “If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right.”

Today, Amichai is joined in the winemaking process by his son, Avinoam Lourie, continuing a family tradition of excellence.

🛒 Where to Find It

█▬▬ Final Verdict

If summer had an official wine, Shiloh Rosé 2025 would be a strong contender. Crisp, refreshing, and versatile enough to pair with everything from salads to burgers, it’s the kind of bottle that disappears quickly once opened. At $25.99, it’s also a great value. Stock a few bottles in the fridge, invite some friends over, and let summer do the rest. ☀️🏖️🍷
